Great service! Blue burger and truffle fries and Ruben and sweet potato fries. Had the new England clam chowder. PInt of hazy IPA. The entire meal was excellent and I would highly recommend it

The chicken pot pie was INCREDIBLE. Delicious filling, just the right amount of cranberry sauce to balance out every bite, and a delicious crust just on top, so you can easily proportion every bite. Delicious and creamy but textured mashed potatoes with some skin mashed in, which I love, and a sweet and flavorful butternut squash. Even though we visited on a very busy day, service was great and quick. When one of our drinks took a little longer, the waitress apologized and let us know ahead of time what was going on. Overall amazing experience for a place we happened to stop at to quickly grab dinner before taking the train home.

Went to Minuteman national Park and made reservations for Merchant's row at the colonial inn in Concord. Great pick. My boyfriend was very impressed with the fact that his inn Burger was cooked to perfection and was generously topped with bacon. My beef poutine was phenomenal and my boyfriend helped himself to some of that as well. The tomato basil bisque soup was good.

Beautiful restaurant. Exceptional food and superior service. If you're ever in Concord and are looking for a place to eat, go to Merchants Row. You won't regret it. The smoked mozzarella and tomato basil ravioli is the best dish ever.

We were staying at the Colonial Inn and decided to try out one of their restaurants. We were not disappointed. We started out with the meat and cheese platter appetizer. The selection was a wonderful start to the meal with a wide variety of different cheeses and meats. My husband ordered the New York Strip and I ordered their stated award-winning braised short ribs for dinner. We were not disappointed in either entree. The bread basket has fresh baked rolls and cornbread. The waitstaff was well trained and very helpful when ordering. Our server even snuck an extra piece of cornbread which she noticed I enjoyed in my takeout box. We will be back again.

I have been here on multiple occasions and ordered many different items. This for me is a hidden gem. I don’t live anywhere near here but if I head to Walden pond then you better guarantee I will be stopping by. Absolutely worth every cent when I come visit.

I’ve been making my annual pilgrimage to Concord every April since 2013, and this year, being the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Concord, the visit felt even more important. Somehow, in all those years, I’d never eaten at the Colonial Inn, which houses both Merchants Row and Liberty Row. After a 2.5-hour drive from Vermont, I decided it was time to change that. The layout inside is a bit of a maze, and though I initially followed signs to Liberty Row, a large event had the space fully booked. A kind gentleman working there directed me to Merchants Row, where I found a seat at the bar, ordered a Guinness, and went with their Yankee Pot Roast. Let me be absolutely clear: this is the best-looking and best-tasting pot roast I’ve ever had in a restaurant. What arrived was a tender, generous cut of roast beef, glistening under a rich, dark gravy, garnished with fresh herbs and set atop a bed of smooth mashed potatoes and vibrant mashed carrots. The presentation alone stopped me mid-thought. The flavor? Even better. It was hearty, comforting, and exactly what I needed to fuel my 8-mile walk around town—to the North Bridge, various Revolutionary War markers, and stretches of the Battle Road Trail. There are plenty of great dining spots in Concord, but Merchants Row just climbed the ranks for me. It’s not just about the food—it’s the setting, the history, and the feeling that you’re in a place that still carries the pulse of the past. I’ll definitely be back—and I might just order the same thing again.
